Elon Musk has announced that Twitter is hiring, following a wave of layoffs since he officially took over the social media platform that caused a number of public relation issues for the popular platform.
During his first few weeks, Musk purged close to two-thirds of Twitter’s workforce of around 7,500 people, but will be rebuilding the staff moving forward, according to The Verge.
Musk didn’t specify the kinds of engineering or sales roles Twitter will be looking to fill, but the company does not have any current plans to list any open roles on it’s website. Reports also indicated that Twitter recruiters were already reaching out to engineers asking them to join “Twitter 2.0 — an Elon company.”
